STYLE FILE: Luck o' the Irish

 STYLE FILE

LUCK O' THE IRISH by L. MADSEN

KISS me I'm..... loving the mixture of Hunter & Moss Green, Dusty Pink, and Cream. A nostalgic color combo that is both down to earth, while remaining soft and feminine. I love the idea of the men in Dark Charcoal suits with Hunter green vests and “driving caps” to match. The ladies would also look lovely in Hunter Green with Blush pashmina and small hand tied bouquets of baby roses. For the Bride, accents of vintage lace and possible an antique cameo adorning a ribbon styled choker could polish off the look quite nicely! Not all of us are luck enough to capture a Leprechaun and have our wishes come true, but with a little work this STYLE FILE is totally doable!

LINK of the WEEK

LINK OF THE WEEK

A new way to be inspired….
This a new and exciting verion of an inspiration board. I created this STYLE FILE using a website called POLYVORE.com It is a fun way to collect clips of colors, updated fashion, themes, accessories, decor and put them together in a fun and unique way. There is only one item to download and they will do the rest, then as you are browsing your favorite websites if you see something you LOVE you click the button on your tool bar and fill out a bit of info about who what where then your done. It will save it in your POLYVORE account as an individual (CLICKABLE) photo, which you can then use to build as many inspirations boards as youd like. It can really help you fine tune a the little nitty-gritty details of your wedding. This is one that I was playing with for one of my brides MAGGIE, but after we met yesterday, we are going to switch up the colors a little. So… back to the drawing board! YEAH! cause this way it is actually funner than it was before. Go to their site and try them out, you will love it!

Ode to a Raspberry

STYLE FILES

Ode to a Raspberry by L.Madsen

The last few brides that I have talked with have pratically glowed when the color raspberry was shown to them, A little deeper than fushia, and more refined than hot pink…..RASPBERRY is quickly becoming the new PINK. I love this STYLE FILE from SMP.com it really shows how such a bold color can still remain soft and sweet.
